Koushik studied photography and film direction at National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad. He took up an apprenticeship at the iconic Worldwide Video Centre, The Netherlands, collaborating with pioneering artists in the field of Video art. He has made several documentaries, including ‘Flying in a Blue Dream’ on guitar God - Joe Satriani, that was published worldwide by Sony BMG & Epic Records. Making commercials for over two decades, he recently founded Kali Collective India & KITCHEN developing narrative and branded content. His debut short ‘Mono No Aware’ was premiered at LA Shorts International Film Festival 2021 and exhibited in three Academy Award Qualifying film festivals till date.
